Food Find: SAFE + FAIR Granola

Granola is adored by many … that is unless you have certain food allergies. I have struggled with peanut and tree nut allergies for the majority of my life, so granola – typically filled with nuts – has always been a foreign concept to me and was never an option until now.

SAFE + FAIR recently launched their Granola line, which is free from the top-eight allergens, vegan, and gluten-free. The granola comes in four fantastic flavors, including Birthday Cake, Blueberry Cinnamon, Chocolate (my personal favorite), and Sweet & Salty Kettle, and can be purchased for $4.99 (12 oz. bag). According to the website, they are ideally enjoyed with yogurt, ice cream, or cereal, but honestly, the granola is so tasty that I find myself snacking on it without even wanting to pair it.

With recent studies showing that there are now 32 million Americans (1 in 10 adults; 1 in 13 children) living with food allergies – more than double the number from previous studies – new products like this granola are becoming even more of a necessity. Check it out.
